Ok. WHY must you have a freaking top-end multi-thousand dollar gaming PC to play the latest and greatest games in FULL hd with settings all the way up with no lag whatsoever...when the xbox 360's specs are like this:

It's because the parts they put into those things along with any other gaming console are specifically made just for that, playing games. PC components have to encompass a much wider range of applications. Plus, they don't get real technical with those parts such as bus speeds, etc. That video card may only have a 10 Mb RAM interface, but it could have 1000000000000000 core clocks, you never know. I'm not too technically savvy when it comes to console designs, but I know my first two sentences are pretty much right on the money.

Never thought of it that way. Pretty interesting question. Maybe also running the operating system takes up much more of a PC's resources.

lol, this is why i never bought an Xbox, its horid specs, i found this specs when it first came out.
Why some people think its better? Since a mouse can move faster then a controller, you dont really see the FPS loss and since Xbox doesn't have to load windows 7 or anything like that.
oh and BTW, the PS3 only has the Nvidia geforce 8400.
