TKC - The Killing Committe is seeking a partnership with a strategic partner in Europe.

TKC is seeking a partnership with a European based clan for the purpose of strengthening our already popular BC2 server (up to #99 in the world as ranked by Gametrackers). The purpose of this is to ensure the server remains full during the late night hours in the U.S. What our partners will receive:

1) Up to 3 clan leaders will have access to the game panel and be able to restart the server if there are any problems.
2) Up to 3 clan leaders will have the ability to kick and ban players who do not follow rules.
3) A 32 slot RUSH server that they don't have to pay for.
4) Use of our Teamspeak server.

The rules the clan would have to follow are our own server rules such as:

1) No cheating
2) No swearing
3) No changes to the server config files
4) Your clan must have no BC2 server
5) Clan must have at least 15 members
6) Leaders who have access to game panel and kick & ban must be mature enough to handle those privileges.
7) Must have a clan website

We aren't going to just hand out a partnership to just anyone, if you are interested, please provide the website url for your clan and a contact email below so we can check you out and contact you.

This should be publicized in battlefield forums, or by anyone, anywhere.

tiempo!! wrote:I know some other clan here, but I think they already have their own servers ... He will comment on them, and what you negotiate. The downside of this is the ping or latency that your servers are here because of the distance. Anyway speak with them tell me they see me.

Actually before they added the region part of the server browser in BC2 our server was quite popular in Europe so I think the ping, while not as good as it would be if the server was hosted over there, is pretty good. And if it is a clan that doesn't have a server, I think they would be happy to get a server if it was on the moon as long as it was free. :)

Well if they have their own servers, it wouldn't really work out I don't think.

Do their clan leaders speak English?

Hey guys, just got your message to come on your forums and say hello :P.

Basically we are a large multi-gaming clan spanning 50+ games and 1600+ active members in the last 30 days.
We are currently in the process of getting bad company 2 for the pc in as a proper game section, and our current method is that games wishing to be a part of the clan have to go into a development phase and if they get enough members they progress into a proper section in the clan. We are just on the verge of being released as a proper section. I am currently one of the Bad company sectional leaders, and the section contains both NA and EU members, but right now there is more NA.

We currently have 2 servers, http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/213.163.69.200:19569/ and http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/8.2.121.88:19567/

The eu part of the section would benefit from an alliance and as we are going to start competitive squads soon, having an alliance would be a great method of practising.

I shall discuss with the other members of the leadership about this, but I believe this could work well.

Our main goal right now is to increase the players who check out our BC2 server. We were ranked #99 when the last patch came out, but like many other servers, the patch has hurt us for whatever reason. Whether its the 4 player min, or the new region filter in the server browser I don't know.

We plan to have a competitive squad deathmatch team (or more than 1) so the idea of having someone to practice with is appealing. Do you think we'd be able to help populate one anothers servers or would having 3 servers in the pool just hurt us?

BTW, we're a PC only clan.

I feel you on that brother, I maintain and pay for the Squad Death match server, We had reached the 93rd percentile with constant near 24/7 16/16 players on the WNx Squad Deathmatch server, we've dropped down around 20 percentile points since that patch, while it did great things for the game it basically killed my server. Now once a day I'll have peak hour or two of 13-16 players and thats it. A few days ago maybe 4? it was full for half of the day so I thought it was going to become rapidly active like it used to but nope. We got into the top 500 I believe and now we are well back in to the thousands.

Also to note to you, we have sections for 360 and PS3 but me and fatality represent the PC section. Our clan has thousands of members spanning basically every major game released with active rosters. me and fatality are the leadership currently of the PC section of the game which is very very active!

Yeah we got all the way to the top 99 percentile when we were at #99, now we're ranked somewhere between 450 and 500 (I don't want to look), and while that still puts us in the top 97 percentile, it's not good enough.

I guess we'll need to discuss what the partnership will really mean. Obviously we'd ask our members (we have over 100 currently), to play on your BC2 servers when they aren't playing on ours, or they'd like a change of pace. I don't think the fact that they are Euro servers will kill our ping that bad. In fact, when we were really popular I think we had more people from Europe playing on our servers than anyone in North America. That's before they could find out it wasn't a Euro server with that region stuff they added. We can also setup practice times for Squad Deathmatch. Currently we haven't gotten a team together but we can. Some kind of partnership banners on each others websites and anything else you can think of. :)
