Need help with my server

I set a source dedicated server up at home for hl2dm, and i'm running it on linux. I finally got my keeper's sound plugin to work correctly without it crashing my server (no clue why it did that anyway), but I'm having one persistent issue: Other people are having trouble connecting to my server. When I start the server, it shows up in the steam list no problem, but then like a minute later, it switches to showing my internal IP and says "server is not responding," and nobody can connect. I have port 27015 forwarded on my router (TCP & UDP) like I'm supposed to, but still having this issue. (TKC) ME is helping me out with this, but we're still having trouble with it too. So far the only people able to connect to my server successfully are (TKC) ME, (tkc) Stewie_Chopsewy, and myself. My server also crashes and restarts when I try to change the map. Anybody got any suggestions?

alright, got the server to show up with my external IP finally....and used a mod for keeper's that finally got it to work. only problems I have now are the "server is not responding" issue for anyone connecting to it outside my network, and the server crashes every time I disconnect from it only when i do, ME and Stewie can disconnect and it remains up.

You might want to try setting your server local IP (the 192.168.x.x) that your router is seeing as a DMZ server. This puts it outside the router's firewall to the public.

alright sweet it worked! thanks don! even had some random person connect to it so i know it worked!

well it did work. lol. i just installed mani admin and now it's screwed again. server won't show up (only says "not responding") and i can only connect via my internal IP :(

Alright, since I think it's related to Mani Admin (after I put my internal ip on DMZ it worked fine until i installed Mani) i uninstalled it. that didn't work. Now i deleted the entire srcds_l folder and I'm redownloading all the srcds files tonight, gonna start over and not going to install Mani this time. lol

Back up and running again. :D
