Brownman, it's cool that you're so happy about TKC. But i feel like i have to say this. TKC is just a clan. It's for people to have fun and play together. I think some of the people in the clan are taking the pride too far. I stated this before, but this thread seems like a perfect time to bring it up. It's just a clan guys, don't take it too seriously.

Your completely right Bryster in the aspect that this clan is more than just a clan tied to some games. For a lot of us we've built up friendships over the months/years, so it's also a place to seek/give advice, just talk about whatever random thing may come up, or any other wide array of what brings us all together. That's also why that little mistake got you sitting on the other side of the fence. It wasn't just about what you did to a lot of us, it was more that we put trust into each other, which you broke, and hurt some feelings.

I think he would have agreed with brownman if he were still on this side of the fence. I remember how excited he was when he got voted in...

Exactly Don.

It may be just a clan, but it's the main point where all of us join, meet, contact, interact, meet more friends, change ideas etc. These are the same guys we've been playing for a long time, that we met and created friendships and i am proud as well i belong in this clan, not because it's called "TKC", but because of the friends in it which it's what makes it strong.

Nice to have you among us Brownman you're a cool pal ;)

Sometimes I read some of the language that brownman uses to describe the clan and I too think, geez, it's just a gaming clan, and that's coming from someone who has spent a lot of time working on the clan. The part that changes though is this, when you stop calling it 'clan' and think of it as 'friends' then you place a different type of import on all of it. Yes a gaming clan in the grand scheme of things isn't that important, but friends are, so in that respect, I think brownman has the right attitude.

i did have the same feeling that brownman is expressing in the thread, the day i got voted in until the day i saw that vac ban status on my account. I'm not necessarily commenting on the ideas stated in this thread by bronwman. Many people have stated their ideas on the clan and i just think some people are taking it too far. I agree that the clan is a group of friends but some people just take the clan too seriously, not that it shouldn't be serious at all. It's just a gaming clan, take a down a notch guys

t3, maybe it just is the language barrier. I read the comments that brownman and tiempo (to be specific) make, and i think "woah, those guys are way too into it". But maybe it's just the language barrier and choice of words that they use because of said language barrier is the reason i have these thoughts. Or it just may be that the words get translated literally from their original language to english, and sometimes it can have a different implication (e.g. in the spanish language the cognate for excited, excitado/a, means excited sexually when translated into english). or it may just even be that when you say something in your foreign language and try to translate it into english, it would show an augmentation of the feeling/expression (e.g. if you try to say "it's raining cats and dogs" in spanish, people will look at you like you're crazy). Anyway... sorry if i offended anyone for their knowledge of the english language ( i know brownman speaks like a bazillion languages fluently). I just feel weird when people show a lot of pride for the clan, a little is ok but i feel sometimes a certain line gets crossed.

That's all well and good, but it isn't hurting anyone and I'm sure no one has lost sight of the things that are truly important. With that said, this has gotten off-topic.

Brownman... I TOO REMEMBER the first time YOU PLAYED on Flem's site ....

I was there also!!!

I've personally seen a lot of our TKC Members join and grow in our Clan from their GROUND UP!!

To me, our Clan is a group of GREAT people and a wonderful BROTHERHOOD (and Sisterhood). It's a group of like-minded, fun-loving GAMERS, who support each other in game fun, advice, and sometimes life's problems and situations. We can feel comfortable asking each other questions on any topic and get honist and respectiful answers. It's better than Facebook!! It's nice to be in touch with each other to hear what's going on in our lives... maybe in Texas, Washington, Massachusetts and even Canada!!

Good people make a "GREAT CLAN," and I agree...... that's what our TKC Clan is.... GOOD PEOPLE!! It's a PRIVILEGE to know each and every one of you in our Clan. :) :) :) :) Pajamas

Bryster, first i have a wife and two girls, i work in constrution (but i am about to be a police off.) and my wife and i have a big store so i have a normal life. In the mean time every body have a Facebook or hi5 account, you know what i don't have one but i am in TKC because i know who i am going to speak with, we are sharing the passion for the games. I know if some body or my self have any question about their computer, their games, life style or a problem, me or one of us could have an answer. Do you know the way i see it, if you are sharing words and thoughts with a group of people for 2 or 3 months i think they are like friends because some time you even share some of your problems with them. If you want to talk about my language it 's up to you and if i follow you in that way i am going to be more immature than you are because it is a waste of time to answer your silliness. I know that in TKC i have freinds and they appreciate the way i am and if there is some things they would like me to change, they are sure that i will do it. I am sorry man if you weren't mentally strong enougth to respect our rules and got your self out of the TKKKKKKKKKKKC.
And to all the TKC members, admins and leaders thank you, i know it is clan but at the same time : (a wonderful BROTHERHOOD (and Sisterhood). It's a group of like-minded, fun-loving GAMERS, who support each other in game fun, advice, and sometimes life's problems and situations) like Pajamas said. :)

That's exactly the main point, well explained. Maybe it's not the clan what really matters it's the group of friends.

Brownman, i wasn't trying to offend anyone. I was trying to state my thoughts and share my feelings with everyone as we do in this clan. If we are a bunch of fun-loving gamers then why are you calling my ideas silly? You're the one that's always saying that everyone is caring and loving, and what you posted just seems insulting. I was never trying to insult you, or your life, or your family, or this clan. Also i think am still a part of the clan in some way, i know everyone and i still post in the forums. Obviously i probably won't ever wear the tag again, and i probably won't be playing hl2 or bc2 (tired of hl2, comp can't handle bc2). I'm still part of the forums, and i don't think that just because i got kicked out of the clan for a silly mistake, anyone should be more hostile to me. I thought this clan was forgiving? This conversation is kind of getting off topic as t3 said... i was just trying to state my ideas. sorry if i offended anyone or anything.
