Today is my 20th anniversary in the Air Force.. woo hoo..
And what does the Air Force give me for 20 years of faithful and loyal service….
A freaking remote assignment to Camp Red Cloud, Korea!.. hahaha.. guess they are trying to
Tell me something ehh? Camp Red Cloud is an Army Base by the way.. near the DMZ.. Fantastic!

What?? I didn't know you were in the Chair Farce. What do you do? I'm in the Navy as an IT, but we do more than just computers, we also do telecommunications.

I'm an information systems specialist... or well was.. we just went through a career field restructure.. Now I'm Cyber Surety.. hahaha.. (network security, Information assurance, Communications security, and Combat Crew Communications) my current position is the Superintendent of Combat Crew Communications. lots of secret squirel shit.. it gets old... we deploy alot.. well I don't.. I'm the boss.. haha.. I used to though.. every 6 months like clock work.. but we only deploy for 4 months but 4 months on 6 months off does kinda suck..cause you know you're going right back out the door..

Yeah I can take it.. not sure how much I'd be able to play though.. it's a tactical position, so would be either field training or deployed alot.. but it's only a year and I don't leave til July

Oh yeah, I'm feeling the love... at least they didn't put me on a ship I guess..that woulda sucked even worse..(nothing against the Navy Don, I just get really sea sick..hahaha :icon_barf:

Oh trust me, ship life SUCKS big one's so your not off base there (with or without the sea sickness). We basically do the same thing in the service, mine just also incorporates the satellite connectivity part, but we also do network engineering/security, computer repair, etc.
