U!-S!-A!

We did it :]... we won gold over the Canadians in a 6-5 OT win last night in saskatoon in the world junior tournament (its big in canada).. Well celebrated? unlikely ;) ... but a win is a win :) .

Yeah.. Las Vegas... Southern California... Still the better players are from Michigan ( ;) ) , Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York etc... a lot of them are playing in the OHL (by a lot I mean at least 3 im sure of.. and the 17 year old goalie will be playing for windsor next year as the starter (which just won the calder memorial trophy this past year) -- he's a consensus 1st round pick in his draft year... too bad Toronto traded theres... but for good ole Phil Kessel

I went to my sons varsity basketball game last night. It was an away game at Jesuit Preparatory. On the walls in the gym were various state championship, state finalist, etc, banners. One of them was a State Championship banner for hockey in 2005. I mean more and more HS's in Texas are playing hockey now. It's not widespread, but some day...

I guess the point i'm making is, it will be a long time before the HS hockey in Texas resembles anything like what they have in Michigan or other northern hockey states, but the fact that they are already getting players to play at that level is encouraging for USA hockey.

What do you mean "we", your a traitor and thus don't count in the "we".
