AVATAR is a 5 star movie. There is nothing wrong with the movie at all unless you were punished to watch it in 3D. I only have one complaint for the entire movie. They called a very rare mineral Unobtainium (Un-ub-tain-ee-um) which probably took 4 minutes to think of.

I can go back a few years to the old B/W Sci FI's like:..... Creature of the Black Lagoon, The Incredible Shrinking Man, The Screws, It came From Outer Space. Some of the newer favorites are: Meet Joe Black, Heat, Johnny Darko, most of the Tarentino films... Pulp Fiction, Resev. Dogs, Big Fish, ... to: A Scanner Darkley,
Also I'm a BIG fan of "M Night Shamalah"(I think that's how you spell his name) Lady of the Lake, etc.

Stephen King's movies are also entertaining.

Then I get into the animated & cartoons like: Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Futurama, Home Movies, Super Jail, Robot Chicken, Metalocpolis, just to name a few.

So many good movies to watch..... and so little time to watch them all !! :) Pajamas

Sometimes measuring the bottleneck can be interpreted in so many ways. The only Thing ATI can render better then Nvidia is BSoD.

Departed Is a very cool movie, i just didn't like the end that much.
Gobbles mentioned Heat, that was great!

What about this very old sci-fi movie, "2001 a space odyssey" jeez that movie i thought it was so boring, not sure why it got so many good reviews from the critics...always wondered that...I like sci-fi movies a lot, like the new Star Trek was great, also gangster movies (Goodfellas, Scarface etc.), animated movies (like shrek, monsters vs aliens lol oh and UP! my wife cried on that one lol also Toy Story) war movies (private ryan, full metal jacket, the pianist etc), comedy movies like the Meet the Parents ones lol (the third one is coming up!), Fantasy movies (LOTR), i liked Gladiator! I like basically all types of movies, i like watching movies a lot.

They're making some pretty good movies recently like Taken, Transformers, Iron Man, Dark Knight! like i said Star Trek was great etc. :icon_happy: Avatar is probably one of the best films i have ever watched, can't wait to get the blu-ray.

I also like to watch documentaries from the planet like Planet Earth! Specially on blu-ray cool! :icon_surprised:
