Sick again!

I had what I am rather sure was the flu about a month ago or so. I got the flu shot for free at my job 2 weeks ago but to no avail. I am sick again and believe it is the flu. My mom and girlfriend both have it and the systems are similar. I just hope with the measures I am taking I can heal quick. Any more time off jiu jitsu and I will freak out.

I had the shot also, and I felt really bad the next day. I thought the stupid shot game me the virus. But know im fine.

Well a coworker told me today that the flu shot takes about 3 weeks to take effect and I got it 2 weeks ago. Go figure I get it in that short time. Of course both times I get very sick fall in the week where I have a big paper due.

Alcohol actually destroys bacteria in your body and can help you prevent from getting sick... but that is, of course, if you limit yourself. Getting too drunk just lowers everything in your body and wears ya out. I didn't drink too much on Halloween but I think getting stuck in the pouring rain for about a 10 minute walk to the next bar hurt me big time. That and being surrounded by my mom and gf who are sick.
