Heatmaps on new HLstatsX
If you don't know what a heatmap is, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_map. Essentially in gaming a heatmap usually depicts where on a map kills took place. Using a heatmap you can start to see a trend of where action usually takes place on any given map, in addition to it just being cool. On our new HLstatsX heatmaps are possible however for HL2DM they only had the images for the source maps like lockdown, overwatch, runoff, etc. I decided to help with the development of HLstatsX and provided them with 30 CTF maps (they had NO CTF heatmaps) and 60 HL2DM maps. Unfortunately those heatmaps didn't make it into their last release about 10 days ago 1.6.1, however I would think they'd make it into their next release 1.6.2. Regardless, heatmaps for L4D are already working on our HLstatsX and here is an example (the heatmap is the black and white photo on the lower right):

Keep in mind that there was a problem with everyones L4D servers (and still are with many of them) so our HLstatsX wasn't tracking information until late last night after I fixed the problem. As a result most of a heatmaps are pretty barren however if you check tomorrow (heatmap generation only happens at midnight on our servers) you should see more hits on the map.
Once they release the heatmaps I added to their product I will update our version and we should start getting a neat little extra to track.
