Nice setup! That mobo can support freaking 24gb of RAM!!! HOLY CRAP!

I got a 19.6-inch acer monitor (X193w) for $100 bucks last christmas. Lol I went to wal-mart after christmas and a 15-inch acer monitor costs $28 more than the one I got.

How much did you spend total on all that?

New I forgot something. The total was $2755.75 with shipping and 2 year warranties after the manufacturer warranties for the SS HDD, power supply, and motherboard. I haven't got this setup, just what I'm looking at getting, I'm thinking I might sell my current desktop and buy this one around tax time.

If you can wait, then wait. They're coming out with the core i9's soon, USB 3.0, I also heard rumors about a sextuplet core processor. Btw keep your vista OS receipt and box, you'll need it for the win7 upgrade

other than that, the rig is friggin amazing. The price tag is looking large also. Have fun with your new future computer :D

If your going to pay that much for a computer why not add a slightly better cpu (i7 950 perhaps, or one of the newer i7 800 series)

by way the rumours that vista is not good have been created by the hackers and those who are inventing virus cause they know with vista they have to work more harder and their virus have to be better so more (math. and patch) :icon_lol:

No on the OS. I like Vista 64-bit fine.. but Windows 7 is suppose to be really solid and use less resources.

From what I've read Win 7 runs with less resources and runs very smoothly. Not sure if those are the only differences however. Here are 4 reportedly major differences:
