Yeah i'm not having a problem at home.. but I was at work. I'd suggest to both of us Skeleton that we clear the cache.

Ok, I cleared the cache', I also reset-up my firewall, reset my modem and router. I am now checking other sites to see if any others give me an issue. Nothing so far.

But are you having a problem on our site? Today at work, and I haven't done a thing to clear cache, it's working fine. My guess is there was some weird network issue that was only affecting some of us. More than likely we were sharing some server we were getting redirected thru or something, that was having issues. Only thing I can think of.

I fooled with stuff last night and it just wasn't making a difference. I will have to try to spend some more time tonight trying to figure this out.

I have figured out the bottleneck. It is the COD4 elite standings table. I have removed the elite tab for now while I work on it however right now i need to make dinner for the family. Hold tight i'll have the tab back up in a bit.

I have put up a temp solution to the slowness while I come up with the long term solution. Right now when you go to the main website it will load faster, however the elite tab does not load any info. if you click the elite tab it will load all of that information so get ready for the delay some of you have experienced. Also, every time you click the elite tab it has to reload everything.

It sucks, but i'm already working on another solution that I hope to have done soon which will allow the cod4 table to load as quickly as the hl2 table.

To skeleton and anyone else who noticed slow load times...

I have just completed a fix that will speed up the site quite a bit. The problem was a very complicated mysql query to pull and do all the math for the cod4 elite table. Every time you went to the website, it had to do all that complicated stuff behind the scenes. I have now put that into a cron job. This means it is now just like the hl2dm table. However the down side is, the table will now only update once an hour just like hl2dm. No more live data but hey, the website is much faster.

No problem. Was glad to just figure out finally what the hold up was. I should of known it was that stupid mysql query I wrote.. it's just so freakin complicated but effective.

In the past have had a little trouble getting it to load but if kept on trying, it reloaded so thought it was just a glitch that happens sometimes
