We checked the Studio XPS 8100 out tonight. Not for the specs (even though it was almost identical) but for the case, and its a nice case with a good setup. It looks like we will move on it this weekend.

Its $50 to upgrade to the 5670, which is why we are considering it. The 5770 is $130.

You'll still be able to handle BC2 with the 5670, just not 1920x1080 at high settings.... :icon_mrgreen:

+ with ati overdrive you'll be able to squeeze out an additional 10+ fps by maxing out gpu clock to 850mhz and memory clock to 1050mhz
on most games at medium settings or atleast with no AA & no AF. it's not a bad card and if you only have to pay $50.00 for it i would say go
other than that i would get the 5770 for ~$150.00 i know they make a 512mb version for ~115.00 right now but i don't think it's worth it :icon_mrgreen:

Sometimes measuring the bottleneck can be interpreted in so many ways. The only Thing ATI can render better then Nvidia is BSoD.

True, but up until about 2 years ago, if one of your parts died, you HAD to buy HP brand because they made theirs to where only their parts would work with their computers. I still don't like them because when you buy a pre-built comp from them they stick a TON of useless crap on your hard drive that you'll never use.

yea, i hate how they put so much crap on your computer, but i bought an HP a few years ago, (intel Pentium Dual core, 2.8GHz, 2 GB ram, 250 GB HDD, geforce 6200 LE, windows XP MCE) and it still runs smoothly and quite fast

LOL. The chip was built to be an i7. Its a Lynnfield chip, which is on of the i7 chips. In the manual, it even calls it the i7-750 instead of the i5-750. so :P
