Never really thought about that. But if I would move West Coast I would move to Central/Southern Oregon. Close to Cali but not in that state aka bankrupt place.

If I would move anywhere it has to be warm. I live in Ohio and I just hate winter. Summer was really nice this year but thats most likely just a one year thing.

The USA has the greatest health care system on the planet. Period. Canada can't even keep their own doctors in their country, they come to the USA, as do some of your countrymen when they can't get the care they need in your own country. Where does someone go if they need serious treatment.. France? Canada? No. We choose our doctor, we have a relationship with our doctors and we don't wait in ridiculous lines for treatment. We don't have to wait for months for procedures. Ever heard of getting what you pay for? And by the way, anyone who thinks Obama is going to hand out free health care needs to catch a clue, they will more than make up for it in taxes. Of course they'll only tax those of us who contribute by working for a living.

but about rights... the only rights americans seemed to care about is their right to bare arms... and they mix the first amendment with the second... The patriot act is a joke... but as long as you are allowed to keep your guns you dont care, oh well. "so we are keeping the guns?? good. go ahead, take the rights."

No you aren't energy independent, what it does do however is make you not have to rely so heavily on a middle east who hates you. And when the USA starts drilling again guess what happens to oil prices, they go down regardless of who is pricing it. It's simple economics, it's called supply and demand.

Have seen peta material, in fact have some of it here and you right , have not seen anything about human animals, actually member and receive email from them so get their info, but i do not agree with everything and do not pay any support to them because of i not in total agreement. I am like you that i think humans come first then the other animals. The good ole Earth can do just fine without us humans here but we do have to take care of what we have including the other animals. LOL. I eat animals many times and enjoy it very much thank you.

Its true that in some cases waiting lines are longer for treatment in Canada, but you don't have to give an arm and a leg to get treated. For American who file for bankruptcy, 50% of them blame it on healthcare costs.

That's because the idiots don't pay the bill. If you go to a hospital here with an emergency, your guaranteed to be seen, with or without insurance; the only difference is who gets the bill of course. The hospital will work with you, they just want their money, they don't usually care how long it takes. You can sit down with the financial people and work out a payment plan that fits your budget (all of this from first-hand experience, being with a girl without insurance a few years ago). If you don't have enough money to make any kind of a payment then you should be on medicaid, which would've covered the visit, unless your one of many who are to the point that they feel that they should be able to reap the benefits of government assistance without taking the time and effort required to get them (they're too damned lazy to go to the office and fill out the paperwork). I for one do not want to see healthcare coverage become nationalized, mainly because T is right, I don't want to see federal tax jump. They're already getting enough of my money.

50% of america's healthcare system is made up of medicare and medicaid... and nobody is talking about nationalizing health care... its called a public OPTION (<< operative word)... your premiums are going to go up 200/300% in the next few years, and thats just because of corporate cupidity...

Heres my view of politics.

All the politicians that havent written a bill that does anything productive need to go on an island. The one that survives can still be a Senator. The rest....well....they kinda died.

Otherwise, I dont watch the news anymore because of politics. Im too busy. And I really dont care. The news isnt anything great anyways.


Who cares. All they are doing now is fighting each other over health care. Soon enough they are going to need that health care
