Favorite 2 HL2DM Weapons?

Speed orb.. I would argue that that isn't an exploit because there isn't a situation where after shooting the orb, you haven't lost any orbs. Like with the shotgun exploit you get triple shot but only use 2 shells. In addition, it's very obvious that someone is using a speed orb and yet, you say you didn't even know there was a shotgun exploit... see the difference? It is a worthy argument however.

Oh and FYI Crimson, I noticed you're ranked 185 on either Flem's or Squid's.. that would place you about 170 places behind where I used to consistently be when I was playing on those servers essentially every day.. so yeah, the people i'm trying to "keep up with" might not be the same people you "keep up with".

I wouldn't call a speed orb an exploit either, its just taking advantage of the physics in the game. The only problem i have with the orb is that its such a skill-less weapon. You really don't need any skill in HL2DM to use it. Its an instant kill and you can take advantage of beginners who don't know how to catch orbs. Not to mention people that hide at the 2 combine ball spawn areas and spam them.

Well I'm ranked 185 cuz I've only had a few chances to play this month and I've only played like 2 matches. I did make 35-0 for the second match though

A couple months ago I did manage to get to 8th for a few hours in Squid's then I hovered around 15th for the rest of the month.

Also I play in Squid's more than Flem's, mostly because Flem's is full half of the time.

Hrmf! I KNEW there was something fishy with that bloody shotgun. It explains how it took me atleast 4 shots usually to kill someone with it then they'd turn round and blow my head off in an apparent 1 shot -_-

Anyway I chose the 357 because I generally hit more with it and it's powerfull. It was almost equal with the Crossbow but I have good and bad days with that so 357 is the one for me..it also looks smexy (haha yes I like my guns)

I think the crossbow is the way to go. Even with the slow reload, its a nice weapon on the sniper maps.

Definitely takes some skill from distance because the bolt travels so slowly. That's probably when I get the most satisfaction.. bolt from long distance kill.

Yeah cross bow is probably my third favoirte weapon cuase you can curve it off stuff
