I was told he was bringing some sort of device to check the fuel injectors...well...that device was a stethoscope. No joke. He used the stethoscope on each fuel injector once my car started idling rough. The fuel injectors should have a clicking sound when they are running right and you use the stethoscope on them. The front-center injector sounded like radio static. So, it's either the injector, or the computer. Reason he says it may be the computer is because it didn't show any error codes other than "all systems normal" when we checked it.
That was my next guess, computer related. The stethoscope is an awesome little trick for injectors. I've done it before. Either fix is going to be a bit spendy. I dunno about GM products but Chrysler are good for saying everything is normal when in all actuality something is wrong.
We have this handy little place called Pull-A-Part about fifteen miles from my house. It's basically a huge junkyard that buys cars, and you can go in and take any part off of any car they have and buy it. Only catch is, you take it off yourself. Bring your own tools and find the car (you can see online if they have your car in stock) and take off the part that you want, and since it's used and you do all the labor, the parts are SUPER cheap. I mean, a brand new fuel injector for my car costs $56 at AutoZone. At Pull-A-Part, it's only $6.
Only bad thing about Pull-A-Part is that they don't keep up with what parts are taken off what car, since parts may be missing when they buy a car, and you risk going there and them not having the exact part you need. They also have a $2 entrance fee, which really isn't bad at all. Oh and also, the computer for my car at AutoZone, if I bring in my old one, is $110. At PaP, it's $26.

Oh one other thing. My car (92 model) has a supercharged edition. They have a supercharged edition of my car in stock. If the supercharger manifold and computer aren't already gone, I'm gonna buy them and put them on my car. It's only $100 there as opposed to over $1,000 at AutoZone. My mileage is gonna drop, but ohhhhh am I gonna get some power on this thing
