i agree with that considering amd beat nvidia to the market w/ stable running dx11 cards that aren't ovens

That's definately true, they beat Nvidia to the market with DX11, but look at intel and amd, amd beat intel to the market with x64 chips, but intel is still faster.

Sometimes measuring the bottleneck can be interpreted in so many ways. The only Thing ATI can render better then Nvidia is BSoD.

    thanks,

I dont really have too much of a problem with ATI GPUs as much as before 2010, like you stated. They're actually a really good price, and great for gaming. AMD definately hit the gaming market. Nvidia...I have no idea what market they're trying to hit right now...I find that they keep going between the gaming market and the graphic editing market.... But I'm stuck with them for 2 reasons(otherwise i'd probably get a 6950) 1. My Mobo chipset is Nvidia Nforce 680i LT and 2. Most programs I have take advantage of Nvidia Cuda, and only 1 of the programs I have supports ATi Stream.... Quite frankly, I recommended an ATi GPU to my friend recently...They're fine for gaming, but not for graphic designing, Video Rendering, etc... I use various apps like Photoshop CS5 Extended to Premiere Pro CS5 to Roxio Creator Suite to Pinnacle and a lot more...

That is true, ME...I always see graphic design and CGI movie artists using NVIDIA Quadro workstation cards as opposed to AMD FirePro workstation cards, just because they perform so much better for those purposes. I really think NVIDIA's just trying to target the design market and keep the gaming performance reasonable, while AMD is currently blowing them out of the water for gaming performance versus price.

I find that Nvidia is trying to target both markets, in the past, they kept leaning back and forth...
