No, I mean RAM... like how BC2 req. at least 2 GB of RAM? W/ FO3 needing at least 1 GB of RAM, I'm not sure the computer I'm on can handle 3 GB of RAM being used up for 2 games...

if you can run BC2, you can run this. lol. the recommended requirements for this game are the minimum for BC2.

Trust me the only computers that can run Fallout 3 full blast are gaming computers like Alienware. Don't underestimate the game. The draw distance can be, if you set it to full, equal to about a couple miles in the game. Add the detail and everything else thats going on, like battles and npcs, you have a very demanding game. But yes, I can easily play it on Low Settings, so only a select few should have a problem with the game.

Only the games you are playing is using ram.
When you're running BC2 it uses 2 gb ram (+-) But when you close it the game dosent use any more ram.

RAM (Random Access Memory) is only used when an application is open (like a game). as soon as you close the game, that amount of RAM is free again. You'd only have an issue of you tried to open BC2 AND FO3 at the same time. lol
