yeah i would love to do it but honestly it wouldnt pay to build it. the case will cost probably right around $60 to make and thats doing it on the cheap. i need to buy a case ( i found one for 20) sandpaper, paint, plexiglass window, fans, miscellaneous supplies. so unless we can get at least $100 in donations toward the case project it just isnt feasable. and i was realistically hopeing to get 3x the donations for the cost of the case so if 60 is accurate we really wanted 180 in donations. its nothing against those willing to donate, just a reflection on others. Also it would severely hamper the plans that i had for this case. I was looking into getting the TKC logo etched into the plexi side panel. ANd possibly cutting a cool design in the other side panel. oh well

Sometimes this clan and it's members baffle me. Someone is trying to HELP the clan, and we can't get more people to say they'd buy 1 or 2 raffle tickets?? Seriously, if you can't support the clan any better than this, maybe you should find another clan. One that doesn't have expenses.

For almost everyone in this clan you seem happy to let 3 or 4 people do all the work and pay all the money.. it gets old. Real old.

I haven't heard of that before. What I would do is set a really secure password if you're worried about it. Here is the link to a password generator:

    http://www.pctools.com/guides/password/

I use those sometimes at my work. Create a 10 or 12 character password. You'll be safe. :)

Also, no reason to have a lot of money in your paypal if you're concerned. I've had my account for years and haven't had a problem. Just don't pay any attention to emails that look like they are from paypal requesting information.. though I don't see those anymore really.

And you are correct.. good intentions are nice but when there are bills, they get you no where.

yep ive had a paypal account for like 6 years now and no problems. and like t3 says ignore all emails requesting information and if u have any questions about emails u receive always go right to the paypal site and contact them personally. plus like T also says dont keep alot in there. i only transfer money into it when im gonna need it. well like a week b4 to make sure its there but u know what i mean.

well it looks like there is enough interest to at least get a case and do a basic rework. however from those interested and the probable dollars incoming from this venture it looks like it wont be the grand adventure i had hoped. ill iron out the details so we can set up the entry/drawing portion and see what i can go ahead and purchase with said contributions.

Ok dad said you can have those 2 towers. One is a full size and the other is an ATX. I remember you saying you'd pay for the shipping? How would that work? (i.e. you pay for it before, or would you reimburse my dad for the costs?)

I'll get some pics up of the towers here in a while. :icon_happy:

    Re: TKC Computer Case

Dad does have a paypal, and I was wrong about the smaller one; they're both the same size lol and I'm pretty sure they're both full towers. Their dimensions are 16 1/2 inches tall by 15 1/2 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches deep. That's full size right?

I'll check up on what the shipping costs would be too.

Sorry the pics are fuzzy, I couldn't find my digital cam so I had to take the pics with my mom's camcorder.

This one ^^^^ is a little dirtier than the next one, since it's the case that used to hold my dad's mobo and stuff until he switched towers a few weeks ago. The brand is Antec. I vacuumed out as much dust as I could.

This one is cleaner than the first; my friend gave it to me last year and it's been sitting in my closet since. Doesn't have a brand name. Comes with a fan on the back of it.
