Funny.. very first one I already use.. RocketDock.

Everyone should know that while the suggestions here make it look and in some cases work more like Win 7.. it isn't the same thing as actually having Win 7 installed, so my original suggestion to DonJuan stands.. if you build a new computer around tax time, go with Win 7 64-bit. ;)

Re: How to change your windows vista into windows 7

Because of the RAM limitations on 32-bit. With 64-bit he can run more RAM so that his games can run smoother, faster, etc. Besides, we all need to move to 64-bit so that Microsoft will stop making 32-bit OS's. There is no reason not to run 64-bit any longer. I run it and have had not a single issue that I am aware of with anything I run. Even programs that say they don't support 64-bit seem to run fine, i.e. RocketDock. ;)

Do you think one day microsoft will stop making 32-bit for 64-bit 'cause they 've understood that because of the sofwares it is a way to make more money. :icon_evil:

Oh yeah.. they'll stop making 32-bit soon.. maybe windows 8. They are already tracking how many people are switching to 64-bit and the number keeps rising.

I bet almost all of it.. if not all of it.. would run on 64-bit just fine.

Yes... games will run better in 64-bit generally, or at least the same. Of course some game makers offer 64-bit versions of their games that run better than the 32-bit versions.

If you switch and have problems, just switch back. :)
