Its sort of true... we have trivial standards when it comes to which animals we eat... its the war of nature i say (

)... i know some dont agree.... but hey, if cows werent so tender or birds werent fun to shoot then they wouldnt be in there position... blubber is a native food (and necessary - like seal eyes) ... rotting shark is a delicacy in iceland... animism is a folly just like... oh, nevermind... (hidden connotation somewhere)
You are right at some point, but I don't call "dolphins and whales slaughter" like it shows in the video, a "trivial standard", for me that is just cruelty to animals, there are more more organized ways for treating animals in this case cows for not suffering or drive them to extintion, by the way, I don't find it "fun" to shoot at birds and never ate "seal's" eyes in my life and don't plan in having native food or sharks.
You'd be surprised with the difference of opinions.. what are "unorganized" ways for treating animals can be symbolic or necessary for others... the reason why i mention seal eyes is bc there are limited food choices for some people, particularly Inuit, they eat them bc it'd be a waste if they didnt, and its a good source of fat (which is needed unless they could die from protein poisoning - of course blubber can be eaten for the same reason).
