something new to scrimmages - plz check out

As most of the people know ( at least the ones who can make it to scrimms) we have got into a rut of good teams vs bad teams while everyone complains and grumbles ( myself included). So i was thinking of ways to liven it up and make it more fun. This is what i came up with.

Capture the flag - this type of map doesnt care who has most/least kills and no matter who is on ur team you can capture or defend the flags. It also brings a little more comraderie into the map as its a little more strategic and u cant just take the highground and pwn all game. Im interested to see what others think and if im way off base then so be it but id appreciate the feedback one way or another. But before you trash it maybe we could at least give it one shot and see how it works and if it bombs then so be it.

Yes i down loaded a capture the flag half life 2 deathmatch game but it was not made by steam, seemed fun, though i never was able to play online...

Yeah that sounds like a good idea. We could have a practice run next week during the week. This Saturday is the 1st Saturday of the month so will be played in the afternoon, I wouldn't want to change it. But I think this is a good idea for sure. Do you have a map or know exactly what we have to do to set it up?

i actually have a couple different capture the flags maps but not nething certain so feel free to suggest other capture the flag maps

Those capture flags maps are awesome

unfortunately, after the few games we played i noticed that u can still get into bad team ruts... say no one uses a mike in your team, then there goes the fun. honestly we played good teams VS good teams and it was great and lots of fun! but then i've been in a team where everyone did there own thing so... really quite frustrating. this said as long as u have at least 2 other people on the team with a mic, it becomes way more fun. (im totally repeating my self... but its early ok) other than that CTF is freekin awsome especialy the Beta MOD!
