I've got a 42" 240hz TV to enjoy my movies on, :icon_mrgreen:. Instead of deleting stuff, I'm just going to start saving my stuff on my primary drive instead of just moving everything over to my 120 Gb. I am leaning a little more towards the monitor because, like I said before, it won't be long before I do a major overhaul anyways.

well i know alot of people are not fond of HP but i have a HPw2338h 23'' monitor and i love it. its a glossy screen so i gotta keep it real clean, but bluray movies look fanfreak'ntastic on it.

Mainly due to the file type. They're .mkv files and the last time I checked I couldn't find anything that would convert them to a DVD format without some quality loss. I'd have to get a Blu-Ray burner.

Sometimes measuring the bottleneck can be interpreted in so many ways. The only Thing ATI can render better then Nvidia is BSoD.

Hmmm, the only problem ive had with dell is power suplies and batteries. Well, no brand is perfect, that's why you build your own :icon_weird:

Batteries and their customer support, don't get me started. I've actually decided to go with the monitor that DMP referenced. I've recently learned that my budget has increased to $228 so I'll have a little left to either put towards the HDD or the CPU cooler. The thing with the headphones is that I would much rather have the Logitech G35's, so I'd probably end up upgrading again within the next few months if I bought the ABS one's. I'd rather just wait and get what I really want.

Acer is not emachines. Acer bought out emachines and now emachines is owned by acer but to say "Acer is emachines" is incorrect.

    Re: What should I do?

    I got myself a new 23" LG LED LCD 1080p monitor. Its amazing, 5 000 000 : 1 DCR, 5ms response time (been using a 19" 1440x900 2ms lcd and theres no difference between 2ms and 5ms) Comes with hdmi,dvi,vga
    The colours are vibrant.

    Only $300 Cdn.

You can connect a ps3 or 360 too this monitor, but you have to use headphones to get any audio via the hdmi. But other than that this monitor has the best of both worlds (high contrast ratio of a plasma, with the lifetime and energy efficient of a lcd.
